A Report of The Zero .1% for Art Commission (heavily abridged version)
Clothespins at "The Clothespin": Fallon and Rosof distributed dyed clothespins stamped with questions meant to provoke Big Thoughts: > "Whose is it?" > "What's it worth" > "What's the use?" > "Is bigger better?"
The response was overwhelmingly grateful. (WARNING: All data has a margin of error of 50 percent.)
1,237 people said, "Thank you," on receiving the object. 1 man, who took several, requested all yellow. 150 asked for a second object.

Rosof (center) and Fallon (right) distribute 1,600 pieces of art to thankful Philadelphians, April 1, 1998.
The giveaway took place at Claes Oldenburg's beloved public sculpture, "The Clothespin."
More flawed data:
5 percent of women rejected clothespins. 10 percent of men rejected them. 14 percent of those wearing glasses or contact lenses were paranoid. They believed Fallon and Rosof were agents of the city government or they believed "The Clothespin" was endangered.
