Statement: Annette Monnier is an artist, curator and writer residing in
the Philadelphia area. She helped to found and run Black Floor Gallery and
currently sits on the board at Copy Gallery. She has written for many influential online publications
including Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction and artblog.
