Secret Service loses sense of humor!

Posted by roberta

The opening of the stamp art exhibit "Axis of Evil" in Chicago was interrupted by Secret Service agents looking for perpetrators of the political art. The SS had no giggles for political stamp art. They apparently thought the stamps were a coded assassination plot against President Bush (one image shows a gun pointed at the president's head).

Thanks Cynthia King for the news flash! Read all about it on Cynthia's blog "Fresh Paint."

"Axis of Evil" made a memorable stop at Nexus in Philadelphia a few months back and Libby and I got to meet Michael Hernandez de Luna, stamp-meister extraordinaire and organizer of the show. See Libby's post here and my post here.
